Congratulations to our very own Professor Jim Dudley, whose Police One debate column on law enforcement issues, won an Eddie & Ozzie Award, one of the most inclusive recognition programs in the publishing community.
You can check out Professor Dudley's award-winning column "State Your Case: How Young is Too Young to Be a Police Officer," where he and retired Denver Chief Joel Shults debate California Governor Gavin Newsom's recently signed Assembly Bill 89, which raises the hiring age for police officers from 18 to 21 and establishes certain higher education requirements for employment.
